Real estate mogul Manny Khoshbin is the patron behind three of these vehicles. First up, in 2016, was a golden brown $2.6 million, 720 hp Huayra from boutique Italian automobile manufacturer Pagani, a brand that was founded by a Lamborghini engineer who worked at Lamborghini, and became disillusioned when that exotic supercar manufacturer was too risk-averse to execute his ideas. Khoshbin had Hermès outfit the interior—including the seats and manual transmission shift knob—in their signature caramel-colored leather.
Then, in 2019, Khoshbin purchased a $3 million Bugatti Chiron. One of the most expensive cars in the world, the venerable French/German supercoupe is also among the most powerful, with a quad-turbocharged 16 cylinder engine that produces 1500 hp. Khoshbin sent the car to the Hermès atelier and had them make it over in shades of cloud-like chalk-white cream, inside and out, with rich paint, and thick handbag-grade leather. Subtle Hermès touches include the brand’s signature block-H pattern on the radiator grille, as well as a Hermès Courbettes horse pattern painted on the rear wing, and incorporated into custom cashmere fabric on the interior door inserts. A “Dressed by Hermes” badge, as well as other one-of one emblems, also adorn the interior.
